
Here is a delicious recipe of Flax Ice cream by Mrs. Usha Verma my wife.
Ingredients:
Condensed Milk 1 tin (400 Gm),
Cold milk 1 Liter,
Flaxseed 100 Gm,
Cocoa Powder 5 Tb Sp,
Powdered Sugar as per taste,
Finely Chopped Almonds ½ cup,
flaxseed sprouts 1/4 cup & and
Vanilla essence 1 tsp.
Steps:
Grind flaxseed in a coffee grinder and soak in approx 200 ml milk. Simmer remaining milk in a pan for 15 minutes on low heat and let it cool. Blend all ingredients by electric hand blender. Pour the mixture into a freezing tray and freeze till the mixture is half set. Remove from freezer and beat until smooth. Return to tray and freeze until firm. You can garnish with chocolate. Enjoy omega-3 enriched Flax Ice cream.
